About The Wesleyan Church

The Wesleyan Church is an evangelical, Protestant denomination. We offer the good news that faith in Jesus Christ makes possible a wonderful personal relationship with God.
DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT

Rev. Ed Rotz was elected as the Kansas District Superintendent of The Wesleyan Church at its district conference in July 2007. As district superintendent, he is responsible for giving leadership and administrative oversight to all the Wesleyan churches in the State of Kansas. Prior to his election, Ed had served as the senior pastor of Fairlawn Heights Wesleyan Church in Topeka, KS for twenty-seven years.

Ed is married to Sharon and they continue to make their home in Topeka. They have two adult children, Kayla and Ben, who live in Colorado Springs, CO and Bartlesville, OK, respectively.

His passion is the local church,  which is the hope of the world. His number one objective is to help Wesleyan churches become missional--to have a crystal clear understanding that the local church has been sent by God to be an "incarnational presence" to their communities and throughout the world.

Additional interests include reading, an occasional round of golf, and giving a little TLC to their dog, Bubba.
