ReGrip & District Conference

Calling Team Kansas!
Once a year we gather the whole team together for inspiration, meaningful connection, and worship. We are excited to gather for the 2026 Kansas District ReGrip, Ordination, and Conference, July 23 and 24.

We’re looking forward to having Dr. Josh McNall back to share with us at ReGrip. He’ll talk about how our Wesleyan Theological perspective can help us navigate our current cultural context.


This year's events will be held at Connect Church, 3351 W. 31st St. in Lawrence, KS.

We need everyone who plans to attend to REGISTER HERE by July 9.

Wednesday, July 22
Optional Golf Event - We will be playing Eagle Bend Golf Course located in Lawrence, KS. Pastors, staff, and lay people are welcome to attend. The cost is $51 which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, a Gatorade, and a sleeve of golf balls. If you are interested in joining us that day, RSVP to Yort Clark at yortclark@gmail.com. Exact tee time details will be emailed out two weeks before the event.

10:00-5:00 Re-Grip - Event for pastors, staff, and lay leaders
Main Speaker: Josh McNall (includes catered lunch and childcare)
5:00-6:00 - Supper and fun activities at Connect Church

Friday, July 24 (childcare available for all events)
9:00 - Ordination Service/Conference Begins
10:45 - District Conference Business session #1
12:00 - Lunch (provided onsite)
12:45 - District Conference Business session #2
2:00 - Break
2:30 - District Conference Business session #3
4:00 - Delegates dismissed to head home

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn at discounted rates. Since all of the events, including childcare will be held at Connect Church, you are welcome to book any other hotel room of your choice.

Nightly Room Rate: $109/night for Wednesday & Thursday, $149 for Friday.
Reserve rooms by calling 785-841-4994 with the dates you'd like to stay and your group name (KDWC Conference 2026) or group rate code (KDW) or by clicking HERE. Guests can adjust nights as needed. They offer complimentary hot breakfast, an indoor pool, fitness center and free Wifi.

We are excited to gather for the 2025 Kansas District ReGrip, featuring Christy Lipscomb, and Ordination & Conference, July 24 and 25. This year's events will be held at Connect Church, 3351 W. 31st St. in Lawrence, KS.

Whether you are a pastor, a lay leader, or a delegate registration is now available! If you plan to attend any of the events, even if you don't need a hotel room, please register. Registration deadline is July 13, 2025. REGISTER HERE.

Dr. Lipscomb is the co-founding Lead Pastor of City Life Church, a multiethnic, urban church in Grand Rapids, MI. They serve people across the socioeconomic spectrum and seek to manifest God’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
